Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of In His Image Outreach Ministries is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. In His Image Outreach members are involved in a variety of ways.
Mission Outreaches
Liberia
We support Christian Bible Church Mission International Inc. (CBCMI) under Bishop Phillip Boimah in Paynesville, Liberia. IHI last sent a team there to visit and minister in December of 2017.
Liberian students and Gail
Israel
In His Image has been on three support trips to Israel. We have marched in the Jerusalem Day Parade with Barry Segal’s Vision For Israel Ministry where people of all nations came to Israel for Succot to worship and demonstrate their love for Israel. We have ministered through the arts at ALYN Children’s Hospital in Jerusalem. We bring tour groups (never more than 15 at a time) to experience the Holy Land, support the economy of Israel and continue to seek areas of need where we can be of assistance
Food Pantry
We have a vision to help families and individuals in need, particularly those who are working but just cannot pay all their bills and still provide food for their families. We offer food for anyone in need, regardless of circumstance.
Music & Worship
God-honored worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and theatre arts ministries. Some play instruments, some are vocalists. Still others get involved in banners, flags and dance. These worshippers are an important part of the ministry of In His Image Outreach – using our talents and gifts to glorify God.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of In His Image Outreach Ministries. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We train men and women to operate TV cameras for our Curtain Call Arts Program. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. In His Image Outreach Ministries is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Throughout the week, we pray for our pastor, church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday, the church comes together at In His Image Outreach for prayer.
Kids Outreach
Each year, In His Image Outreach Ministries hosts at least two children’s outreaches: an Easter ‘Bash’ and a Christmas event. These events involve our puppet theater, games, preaching, great food, and good worship. The Outreach counselors are selected, screened, and trained for this important Outreach ministry. They find that their ministry is personally rewarding, as they watch neighborhoods transformed. Reaching for Rhode Island with the TANGIBLE LOVE of Christ!!
