Leadership Team:
Pastor Gail, Senior Pastor
As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Gail has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. Pastor Gail and her late husband, Wayne, founded In His Image Outreach Ministries, in 1996. Together they have served the community through weekly food distribution, Valentine, Easter, Back to School & Christmas Bashes. Reaching into RI with the tangible LOVE of Christ. She also is a Metal Clay Artist teaching in our Art’s Center along with Glass fusion, Needle felting, and Mastering Puppet classes. Most recently, Pastor Gail has launched a School of Hydroponics, teaching sustainable living to children and growing food for our Food Pantry. Gail has two adult children, three precious grandchildren and a dog named Bear.
Pastor Peter comes out of several decades of pastoring in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York. Now living in North Kingstown with his wife Susan, Pastor Peter leads our ministry at the Bannister Center, in Providence. In addition to preaching and teaching, Pastor Peter’s main focus is shepherding – spending several days a week ministering to the individual residents and even staff at the Center.
A Rhode Island native who was serving the Lord for a season in New York, Susan is excited to be back and ready for this new chapter in ministry! Susan first learned to minister with her father (a life-long Rhode Island pastor), before launching out in her own ministry and then ministering alongside her husband, Pastor Peter, for the past 32 years. Believing that God is about to do something awesome in Rhode Island, Susan is thrilled to be back home.
Music is a passion, but worshipping the Lord is at the core of who Susan is. Expressing worship through singing, teaching, preaching, intercession, drama, service and just enjoying God’s presence, Susan would say that worship is a way of life.
The super-hero Wonder Woman has been Susan’s “alter-ego” for most of her life. While there is a physical resemblance between Susan and the actress who portrayed the super-hero on television, she would tell you that the bigger association is with that of a woman who knows who she is, what she is called to do and executes her mission with near-fearless passion.

What we believe:
In His Image Ministries Statement of Faith
We believe the existence of God to be self-evident, and confess the Christian Scriptures to be the revelation of God. Further we believe they were verbally inspired and infallible in the original manuscripts; we confess to the verbal-plenary inspiration of Scripture. We believe the Scriptures to be the final authority for our faith and practice.
We believe in One Eternal, Triune, Self-Existing God. We believe the Trinity consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe they are One: One in essence; One in nature; One in attributes; and together are to be worshiped and Glorified.
We believe that God the Son became incarnate of the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made Son of Man. We believe in His sinless life, in His death in our place on the cross, His shed blood to atone for our sins, His burial and resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal and imminent return.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who is the Lord and Giver of Life, who is the guarantee of our salvation, the Giver of all spiritual gifts, our Comforter, our Teacher and who empowers us to live a holy life of service in the ministry of reconciliation to the glory of God.
We believe that mankind is a creation of God, and that the original parents were created in the image of God, as such were righteous and without sin. That Adam, by his own free will, rebelled against God, and as a result, death passed upon Adam and his posterity. By this, we believe that all human beings are born in sin, and as such are dead in their trespasses and sin, and are under God’s condemnation.
We believe that all mankind in under the condemnation of God, in need of salvation. We believe that salvation is an act of God’s grace and mercy in bestowing justification by faith as men repent of their sin and submit themselves to the Lordship of Christ, our debt having been paid by Christ on the cross. Salvation in not be the works of the Law.
We believe that the church is the living Body of Christ, who is the Head. It is composed of those who by faith in the finished work of God at Calvary, having turned from their sin, who have been born anew, baptized of the Holy Spirit, reconciled to God, and given the ministry of reconciliation. We believe in the ordinance of Water Baptism, by immersion, as an outward sign of God’s inward work, and in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, to celebrate his death until He comes.
We believe in the immanent physical return of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the just to the blessedness of everlasting life in fellowship with our Lord who is the Resurrection and the Life, the unjust to the suffering of everlasting death in Hell which was prepared by God for Satan and all rebellious beings.
